Bozeman, MT ➡️ Billings, MT

Today we each ran 12 miles and made our way to Billings, MT. It was a pretty usual day for 4K; we ran through some beautiful farms and pastures, and ran through towns with populations as small as 96 people. There was a news van waiting for us as my van finished our miles. Especially in these smaller towns, it seems to be big news when a group of young adults is running through the area; people are interested in our cause, which is great! One of our teammates had some family in town, and they provided us with a lovely dinner, for which we are so grateful. In towns where our host is (completely understandably) unable to provide dinner or other food, it can be difficult to get enough food for snacks and meals. Tomorrow (day 17) we’ll be running 14 miles after a breakfast provided by a 4K alum.

I am a 2019 graduate of Davidson College (B.S. in psychology), where I also played Division I field hockey.  I am planning on going into the medical field, and will be applying to graduate schools to pursue a career as a nurse or physician assistant after 4K.
